This is all zeroes and ones Poju: Painter C and a Wacom G2.
I mean’t that it’s been awhile since i’ve actually draved anything so my skills(that little i had) are almost gone and it’s hard to find time practise anymore.
Sorry to hear that Poju. Here’s an idea; kick your girl out, get one of the smaller Wacom’s and start painting. It is fun
Anyway, here’s another wiseguy…

Eric Bana’s mom… (Hulk movie seems like it will be cool…)

And my favorite. An ode to Apaparone and his muppet eye monsters.

Cheers jeroentje
(still no Smirnoff smilies)
Kicking my wife out isn’t an option anymore, she is bregnant 9nth week:bounce:
I have lot of time at work, but i can’t really install this machine anything so i play around with Blender:D
Btw: Where’s all nake chicks
These got lost in the crash, if you’re interested: here they are again.

Cheers, jeroentje
Nice stuff Man. I like the harsh lighting on the characters. I’m going to look into this Painter app.
Cheers, and keep it up.
He thanks
Just came back from your website. You have some pretty good things up there. I noticed you want to get into storyboard drawing btw, so maybe Painter will be a good tool for it. It has a prety good markertool in it, so you can keep some feeling of speed in your drawing (IMO, just what a good storyboard needs). I did most of these with that.
Painting hair can be so much fun…
He reminds me a little bit of Billy Connoly, but that is just a coincidence.

i’ve got Painter now jeroentje. I’m not sure how I feel about it. Another app to learn. Your hair is great!
Why thank you Gamoron, I will tell my hairdresser  :insane: LOL
About Painter; I use Classic and that took me about 2 minutes. Dunno if you got another version, but the basics are pretty easy to learn. It is just like painting IRL only more flexibel. And I just love the multiple [ctr-Z] undo and the rotating canvas thing.
Is there any other tutorial showing ALL brushes of painter? Or the only one is that which comes with the soft? Thre’s toooooo many brushes to play around and if I have a printed manual with ALL of that brushes in some examples it will be much better

I have never seen a Painter tutorial. And there was no manual with the CD-ROM that came with my Wacom G2 tablet.
I just installed it and started playing with it
yeah, you’re right. I didn’t find great tutorials with painter… why this?
There’s a pdf that comes with the soft called “BrushVariants” which shows every brush of painter. But just a little trace, not how it functions or what can be done. Maybe i’m too lazy to try all of them

Being a Photoshop fan since it’s fith version, it’s hard for me to keep another painter prog and learn… :thumbsdow
well… go on with your great drawing…
I’ll keep an eye on.

I’ve been using Photoshop since version 2.0 (without the layers LOL how on earth could one work with that???)
But like I said, the basics of Painter is very simple; A canvas, a couple of brushes, a well-thought color picker and off you go.
Only thing I ever change on a brush while using it is the size now and than.
…oh and for a bit of the more complicated color management I open it in Photoshop, do what I have to do, save as a TIFF and continue in Painter again.

When will i buy my damn wacom!!!
Ur impressive, i really like them, also like the ‘‘rough sketch’’ of ur girl on ur site.
i found the mad ‘’ compte of champignac’’ (you know in the ‘‘spirou’’ cartoon’’) you made the funniest…
element
(what an english… )
hehe.,… i just remarked that it was also ur favorite…
but for you its :
An ode to Apaparone and his muppet eye monsters.

ps : mmmmmmh smirnoff smilies…
Now here is a funny one, I acutally paid good money for Painter 7 as I liked Painter classic that came with my wacom, and trust me stick with painter classic, its clean simple and fun, Painter 7 is loaded with new stuff that only gets in the way of creating. They have added way to much, and some of there brushes while really cool in their effect, are really ram/processor ntensive, meaning that even my 1.2 512Mb DDR system slows down to an absolute crawl, never had that in Painter Classic. This stupid painter 7 had it for only a week now tried it on my backgrounds, and I’ll be sticking with Painter classic and PS 7.
