I finished a short animation using this character which I built about a year ago.
Smooth bind was used to do main facial movements and morph targets were added to support secondly deformations.
I made a simple face UI to drive facial system.

As for the body deformer, I used smoothBind with influence objects (muscles) with use component on.
I deformed the influence object to do the tendens on her neck.
