I’ve been working on and off for about 2 months on this one. It was a lot of fun, but after awhile I couldnt wait to finish it.

Dude … i hail you as ‘King Vector’
This is awesome… I’ve done some stuff like this and I know how long it can take… you’ve done a really good job…
Good work.
Looks very three dimentional, and the poses are very nice as well.
and illustrator…wow.
dang, I dont know illustrator…but i remember drawing some star wars stuff some years back… and getting the helmets accurately was damn hard! great job, I got nothin
Creating this stuff in Illustrator is sick man!!
This is one of the coolest things I’ve seen in Illustrator!
*Bowing in respect
hey nice job Spritemare
the helmet is really cool but some parts of the armour needs more volume (like in the back). you have to draw a thickness.
good game mate!
congratulation for this work. You like complication, I see
just for fun , how many layers did you use? :surprised

Reference or nor (we all use it), that’s a pretty impressive usage of Illustrator, Spritemare. Lots of crazy gradient meshes, I am sure. As maxou mentioned, some of the armor needs a little more depth (especially around the core body), and I have to say the feet bothered me a tiny bit. Anyways, most of this is bang on, and it certainly was an ambitious endeavor in Illustrator! Good work.
Urrgos
Very True THX, but is 3D Blasphemy’s work really the original. I noticed that his 3D rendition of Darth Vader is a direct copy from the scene in the movie…
…everything is a copy of a copy of a copy.
So, maybe this is a lesson for our friend Spritemare, always cover your ass because someone my be trying to wipe it.
Peace!
:wise:
Spritemare, it seems we are the only one in this forum who make “massive vectorial illustration”
look at this thread i posted some months ago:

that’s really wierd, because I got this image from a still photo of a toy (Japanese issue?) Now I doubt the validity of that link.
