Character: Self Portrait

Just a simple self-portrait. I’m not actually left-handed and my hands are actually both the same size (as opposed to what the image shows) but oh well. This was supposed to be a warm-up for sketching new ideas for the MachineFlesh challenge but I got wrapped up in it and now it is 2am. I’m not sure how y’all say it around here but it would be cool if you could offer some constructive comments/critiques/recipes-for-brownies :smiley:

Oh yeah, I’ve always sucked at backgrounds. Sorry that part is so boring. I’m trying to improve but so far no ideas.

i think your too hard on urself…
as for the self potrait… i think its cool… i like your style…
and as for the bg i think it ok coz then the highlight tends to be more on yourself… pretty cool…
