character portrait...again

Yup, finally got it up. It’s full of problems…I could really use some suggestions on texturing and lighting, but at least I finished a portrait! All C&C and help welcome.:buttrock:

The image isn’t showing up in the thread. I had to copy and paste the linked file into another explorer window… Perhaps geocities doesn’t like it?

I don’t think I’m good enough to give any crits except for perhaps that the nose and mouth don’t seem wide enough. Also, it looks like you only have one light. Is that correct?

What package are you using to make / render the face?
If it’s max (or not), take a look at the tutorials on following link

The photorealistic tutorial there should be very helpful for you in regards to better lighting.

you got me there, I used only one omni light. Yup I’m using 3ds max, and thanks for the heads-up. Cheers
