Character Modeling and Texture for Current Gen

DCWL, a Hong Kong-based studio is hiring the following poses:

Character/Monster Modeler
Character/Monster Texture Artist

Responsibilities:
[ol]
[li]Create Japanese Style, Low-Res Character/Monster models using 1-2 perspective drawings as reference
[/li][li]Create the models with reasonable polygon amounts and the use of polygons must be efficient
[/li][li]UV, Create Textures and decide on colors (original materials are B/W drawings), output must be in Japanese Anime Style. Color tone will be simple but a reasonable level of skills in drawing shades and refrections are required
[/li][/ol]---------------------------------

Output Efficiency:
[ul]
[li]Model: 1+ Unit/Day for Parttime; 2+ Unit/Day for Fulltime
[/li][li]Textures: 1+ Unit/Day for Parttime; 2+ Unit/Day for Fulltime
[/li][/ul]

Required Skills and Experiences:
[ul]
[li]1-2 years modeling/textures with XSI and/or Maya
[/li][li]1+ year of experience in Current/Next Gen Games
[/li][/ul]---------------------------------

mid-Aug 2006 to mid-Sep 2006

*Extension is possible


Type of Employment:

Part-time or Full-time Freelance
