nice textures
character:jack
Waow! Impressive work. Ur character seems to be… Hum! Not realy a nice guy. Meet him in a dark little street coold make me fear!
I’ve just added to my thread a new version of my picture. I’ve change and upgrade few component of my picture, such luminosity, contrast, glow all over the character and dof, clearness… Wich one do u prefer, what’s ur opinion about these change and have u comments?
Voila Dare, j’ai suivi tes conseils: C’est mieux? (je sais pas si ca se fait, puisque ce n’est pas un wip! J’espere que je ne vais pas payer mon impatiente…)
Thanks alias, i am happy to see that u like my avatar(it a part of the main character of a past artwork)… But what is ur opinion on my actual work?

Woow, Im really impressed
Modeling and texturing is top notch, but what I admire most is his jacket, simply briliant :buttrock:
T_M
good work! did you model the whole character? It would be cool to see the whole character…
Matt
Thanks all!
I’ve noted that plenty of u seem to fond that the Jacket is the best component of the picture… That i’ve made for concentrate the spectator glance on the eyes of my character.lol!
Matt: only what u see is modeled, not the whole character.
For those who are interested, you can see the making-of on this this computer graphics dedicated web site: http://www.vocanson.com/
or go straightly to the making of “Jack” page: http://www.vocanson.com/tm/C/C2_secrets/3dsmax/jack/Jack1.htm
It is only in french version at the moment, may an english one will come.
The expression seem a bit blank, it almost looks better in the modelled veiw. Maybe if you gave the eyes a bit more life, titled the head forward and hooded the eyes a little to give it more menace, I think it would work better as a picture, but the guys are right, the textures are really nice and the modelling is superb. Best I’ve seen all day so far.
