:hmm: …hi … … . .guess she’s nice … … . … .but something wrong … can’t say what … maybe background … . … .ohhh… this hair … . …don’t like it … … .but it not so bad … .
a nice painting…
from the bg, it seems as though the lighting is intense against her back - that right there was change the lighting dramatically on the forefront of her body - the lighting as it is on her body is pretty generic and scattered w/ no real source.
hope that helps.
Thanks for the comments!
Didnt want to let go of the redheads, so heres a second one.

I’m so used to seeing and enjoying your comics, this is a nice surprise! Helena reminds me of a Boris Vallejo (sp?) picture of a harpie. Different perspective and tone since harpies are not nice creatures and Helena looks like she’d be cool to hang out with. 'Scuse the double entendre, but are those headlights (like from a swamp boat) or a sunrise? I like the colors, but her hair goes kinda wild at the ends. Looks good either way (kempt or unkempt) but I’m curious why you did it that way.
Second pic is very nice. Very interesting perspective and I like how she comes out of the frame.
The first one, Helena, wasn’t realy “executed” as a picture, it kinda grew from a scetch. Somewhere along the way I wanted to try the concept of bleeding red flatshaded against poisionous green. (They have a wallpainting on a local coffieshop with that and its neat) Therefor I made the end of the hair scetchy to loosen up the compact area a bit.
I have NO IDEA what the light behind her is

Nice one
nice to see a woman painting not with the standard lil girl with monster tits proportions
a little crit might be that her hair in the 2nd picture doesn’t realy look very good. i know you can draw that better
