Character: Dwarf Warrior

Hi everyone!:slight_smile:

I love fantasy world, such as WarCraft! I have to do this.
I made it right in Photoshop 7 and Wacom tablet.

You need a less extreme seperation between foreground and background. As of now, it’s obvious that the dwarf is just pasted on top of a pretty basic background image. The cloned trees in the pack are pretty jarring. It looks like he’s standing on the barren plain, but then there’s just these somewhat cartoony trees jutting up in the background. Also, the snow does look very sketchy, all these little white dots - make the snow more substantial, and give it some direction (the same one the beard is blowing).

The dwarf himself is very good, however. I really like the clothing, as well as the fact that you changed the color of the line art for skin tones and such. However, I’d like to see a little more shadow on his face, as well as some shading on his hammer. If you’ve still got the line art, these problems are quite easy to remedy.

Flatuloso, I still got the line art! You don’t have to worry I’ll fix it all.

Perfecti, you are right about the details, i will try to improve that to.

Is his left hand smaller than his right?:hmm:

Nice drawing, details needed. Some shadow under his foot, even though it’s snow… I like the character though.:slight_smile:

yes. get some snow reference, work on the trees and purple background. the dwarf looks promising
