Character: Chinese girl

Hiyo! this is a picture I did during spring break. I’ve reach to a point at not knowing what to do more about it. So c&c are welcome!
My main objectivity is to incorporate some chinese painting style in to this piece.
I used photoshop 7, and wacome tablet

errr if it doesn’t work… then try this link

wow:eek: that an awesome piece, its got a really good loose and floating feel to it, the only thing is the graininess of the backround, i think it contrasts too much with the girl, other than that its brilliant.

#6

looks great

her eyes are the part IMO

#7

very beautiful and elegant. i like the butterfly as a prop. the fingers look really good too. the hair seems a bit clumpy. also, the eyes are a different level of quality and detail than the rest of the body. i’m not sure if you intended for that or not. overall, i like it.

Hi again, and thx all for the comments.
I haven’t notice the details on the eyes comparing it with the other parts. I guess i was a bit more focus when i drew the eyes. I always like to draw eyes, because they are the window to the souls (is this how you say it in english eh?).
haha, anyhow I don’t really like the graininess, maybe I should do something about it.
thx!

The face catched my attention for a while. She’s very cute, very nice work on that. Too bad the rest isn’t of the same quality.
