Character: Bernard at the Worlds End

Hello again ladies and fellas

I have slaved over this pic for quite a while now. Bout 2-3 dozen hours in Photoshop 7. Constructive critism is encouraged.

Enjoy! :buttrock:

Nice work, Bugmeyer. The time you’ve spent with the image really shows. I find the figure a little “droopy” in places, especially around the eyes, collar bones, and chest muscles. I only point those areas out because the rest of the muscle tone is really crisp and hard. I like the shapes you’ve chosen for the sky, but I might place a little more detail right in the center of the image where the beams of light are. Seems a little flat right now. I’d actually like to see a little more work on the background in general. Fantastic job on the pants and gloves, and those hip plates have a really nice texture. Great job!

Peter, what I said before about the zippers on the pants, and the leather wrapping on the sword hilt holds. The clouds/sky/swirling-darkness works much better now. I do agree with Urrgos, the well spent work time notwithstanding, the central light area in the background seems to need a bit more of a hint of fading roiling clouds of whatever.

It quite often is the pieces that drag you into slavery that leave us nonparticipants going :applause: .

Lovely as always dear ^.^d

very nice job! consistent mood. what’s the blue sphere next to his right leg? love the hip armor and the character design.

I think the shape of his head could use a little adjustment, also the skull looks kinda flat. Like the sky, though. Feels creepy. Peace.

I really like it. But I think the nose and the eyes could need some adjustments. It seems as if the space between the left eye and the nose is too big.

Great work in so little time.

Your style is awesome man! The colours are perfect, especially the skin tones, love the whole dark edgy feel it has to it, the character could pass as the lead in a slightly more hardcore gothic final fantasy… well worth the time you put into it
