Character: Alien Merchant

second post here folks =)

Done by Alias Sketchbook Pro 1.1 (trial ver.)

Minor glowing effects were added in Photoshop, linear dodge blend. (too bad for to Sketchbook Pro’s poor layer system.)
However, the 99.9% of the alien merchant were done by this great sketching program.

This drawing was not really a large one in its original size, but the program has solid anti-alias :beer: support when zooming, so now the size doesn’t matter.

The reason to draw this is because I got rejected by a position that I always want to…:shrug: cummmon that’s just an student intern!

So, this merchant sells everything, maybe that mysterious music box he holds can help me to hypnotize that dude giving me a position… (twist the spring)

I really like it.
The position of his hands make me think, “Okay, let’s make a deal!” I like the monacle on his right eye, like something a jeweler would wear and I’m curious about the lit bulbs over his shoulder. Forest background – anywhere, anytime he’s ready to buy or sell. Nice work.
