Change/Import New fonts into Vue 7?

#1

Hey gang,
does anyone know how to change or import a new font style into vue for use?
I want to use the font “Hobo Std” but it’s not in the list.
It is in my windows/fonts folder though.

Thanks.

The only way (must be for sure for this case) - If this font is seen in another apps,
find some vector editor (inkscape is free), type what you need and save/convert to (spline) format Vue knows (AI, EPS, or somes alike).
… and load as shape in text editor (never done this before? should try - you gonna like this).

Thanks.
never tried that before.
Will it load the entire style format or do i have to create what i need as i need it?

You should try. The ‘profile-building system’.
In Vue (6/7…): Start, click Text, nothing typing. there’s magic ‘Import vector graphics’ button… EPS’s just worked fine with simple shapes and text (sometimes it depends of font complexity, of course).
BTW a nice pack of Extrusion and Beveling build-in setups for start… much more than simple 3D-Text insertion…
