  • You can submit A VOLUNTARY CLIP of your entry, that can be posted a day or two AFTER the dateline. The clip is for the Voting Thread TRAILER and it has to be 4x3 aspect ratio

Is it ok to submit a clip that is 4x3 with a letterbox matte?

I think he meant the image aspect ratio that means if u r using 3ds max then max’s default image ratio 1.333 for 640x480 or 320x240 res. should be ok…4x3 meant to be 4 width and 3 height for image.and its aspect ratio is 1.333.:slight_smile:

Hello everyone,

Here i go with my final submission.well my short looks like short story cum then trailer.

Story is about the UFO bymistake entered to the earth and crashed near the wheatfield.it’s hard for alien to live on earth’s environment.it alive for few hours and after that its whole body burned out due to atmosphere.and also Crop circle is found in the middle of wheatfield…

I used 3ds max 8,combustion and photoshop for particlefx,compositing,lighting etc.I didn’t use any plugin for this short.Alien model is by my friend sriram.

onix: music was perfect for your movie and the flying car looks sweet! (the end music was kinda unexpected though :wink: )
