SIMULATION War

From Webster
Collapse

Main Entry: col·lapse
Pronunciation: k&-'laps
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): col·lapsed; col·laps·ing
Etymology: Latin collapsus, past participle of collabi, from com- + labi to fall, slide – more at SLEEP
intransitive verb
1 : to fall or shrink together abruptly and completely : fall into a jumbled or flattened mass through the force of external pressure

THE CHALLENGE:

The participants will be tasked to do a simulation on a Collapse FX.

The FX shot might be done with live action, or completly digital, and it will
be either a completly original creation or a TRIBUTE of a sequence from a FILM (in the attached list)

If you choose the FX sequence has to approximate as much as possible the techniques from the films from the attached list. For example Imagine recreating the sinkhole shot from the XFiles film or the bridge collapse from the The Mothman Prophecies . Now it is your chance…

For both type of entries we expect either SINGLE Shot or SERIES of Shots.
Keep on mind the SIMULATION is the key criteria.
