CgTalk Daily Sketch 669 THE 25 MINUTE SKETCH: "Race Car"

#35

I made this one for the new thread " Race Track" But I focal too much on the car and did this one.
I use 45 min as in the " Race Track " thread. So, I have no screen of what it was at 25 min. Sorry ! I’m disqualified for this day

Great work to all !

Well been a while since I posted in the DSG but I’ve been looking for an excuse to do a car sketch. The initial sketch was done in 20 minutes in Painter but it took 120 minutes to render in Photoshop, so I guess Im a bit over.

#37

man! thats awesome!!! - no Maya? hehe…

nice to see you around!

#38

Wow Andrewley, that’s really nice!

#39

Lets Race Andrew hehehe :bounce:

#40

Andrewley; nards: any chance of a few tips on how to do that type of rendering?

#41

I was going for a semi-futuristic club racer like a Cobra or Elise which, of course, were my inspirations for this drawing.

PS7/ Intuous3/ 25 minutes to 3+ hours

#46

another sketch pencil only with pilot

#47

25 minutes, Artrage2 + photoshop to add the ‘24’

No time left to do the wheels, so it’s a hover racecar

Cool cars guys, especially Rawwads.

#48

Another 25 minutes i Artrage2 and another racecar…

25 minutes is shorter than you think … and the driver is a bit too small

#49

or it’s just a big car… hehe

#50

Thanks for the save  !

#51

were both from the netherlands, we should stick up for eachother

#52

Hi, exactly 25min!, Photoshop, Wacom Cintiq

Btw, it’s inspired on a bull. I’m developing the driver, the car, the track and the crash around this concept.

Cheers!

#53

damit…that was my cup of tea.

#54

Wow! So many had very interesting ideas, but rawwad and andrewley are my favorites.
