Becuase of the extreme complexity of the challenge I want to provide some pre-production boards to all participants to help them & inspire them.

WHAT IS THE FXWARS?
FXWARS is our ongoing visual effect challenges of the CGTALK forum. The idea is to PUSH what can be done in terms of visuals.

We have done 26 challenges so far.
Ok what is the challenge about?
Well the participants will be able to do a fully CG fx sequence based on the idea of the Queen of the Rocketmen.
The type of entry will be either

[li]SINGLE SHOT[/li][li]FULL SEQUENCE[/li][/ul]Some ground rules:
[ul]
[li]if you are doing a storyboard, keep in mind that people might use your boards for filming.[/li][/ul]Ok what can I do now?
Well we are giving a LOT of leeway for artists & concepts artists to post concept art/ storyboards based on the aftermentioned rules .
If you have an idea for a sequence or some concept art post it on this thread. I will later post some possible scenarios…
My advice, KEEP IT SIMPLE
The rest of this post is the same OLD rules:
You have No Time Limit for your sketch. IF you go beyond the assigned time limit , you have to post WHATEVER you have done after the time has expired, along with the FINAL drawing.
NEW RULE: You may also re-post a copy of your finished drawing a this forum:

No “tributes” or plagiarizing, unless is it an integral part of the challenge.[/li][li]You can post an entry at anytime for the topic presented on this thead BEFORE the voting thread for THE WEEK has been posted.[/li][li]The artist also has to post total length of time it took and program used.[/li][li]Any piece caught breaking the rules will be taken off the thread.[/li][li]The topics will be picked at random from the list on the TOPICS thread >>LINK<<[/li](The author will be given credit).
