photoshop . 1.5 hours

I thought the 435 min limit was real or was it just an oversight? Anyway here is mine. Loved the long time limit tho.

little over 3 hours PS cs1.4

ps 40 min, hiippos are huge but not great at sticking up for themselves.

I should be doing my final for animation, but I took a break  55 mins, Photoshop “The Two Bags”

So you can still enter daily sketch challenges the day after theyve been announced, as long as you keep in the time limit for the actual piece?
Sorry, am a noob around here, how long after its announced can you enter?

Hi, Daniel.

The newest DSF topic is posted at the top of the thread, just below the sticky threads. It is also identifiable by the increasing numbers in the thread’s title. Topic threads are open and active until the Category Vote Thread for those topics has been posted. The time period between the initial post of the topic until the voting generally lasts 7 days (five to be safe), some even later but that is not very common. Most thread activity stalls by the fifth day unless they are unusually popular threads. Once the Category Vote Thread [Officially known as Sketch of the Week: Tell Us What Your Favorite is for the Week! Cat (#-#)] for a range of topics most activity ceases in those topics. While that does not mean that thread is officially closed, any entry added after that isn’t likely to receive much attention as most people have moved onto the newer threads.

You can know more from FAQ:

Appreciate that peleng, cheers.

Anyways heres a sketch for this challenge I just did.
Gonna try and enter a lot of these from now on:)
Already just being on this site around so many great artists has be psyched.:)

    45 mins

Photoshop, 50 Minutes

nice entries guys!

well, back from vacation and rusty as hell - haven’t seen a computer in weeks!

PS/wacom 30 min…

Great stuff thus far guys

Hi guys, there are some stunning sketches in this thread, great job:thumbsup:

I decided to pick randomly a fable from the internet and exercise some kids illustration style. I liked the first one I found. This is the wording of the fable:
Rat wants to be an elephant. Lazy Elephant puts Rat to the task of learning how difficult the work of an elephant is, while he himself sits by watching. But when Circus Man comes looking for a hard-working Elephant to hire, Rat gets the job! The moral of the story? “Don’t count on your looks!”

Well that took about 2 hours more after the time limit. At 45 min I almost finished only the elephant and marked a few things. This is the 45 min stage - quite far from what was in my head:)
Used PS.
