Thanks Creeto,

I’ve got a whole story in my head for this one.

nice fish.

#8

Creeto, I would love to know your technique for producing that piece of art in 20 mins.

#9

2 hrs Photoshop.

#10

The front half the fish is a photo, he then painted overtop of the back half of the fish to blend it into the background and flatten it out.

The effect is phenomenal though.

This was influenced by Creeto’s attempt, it required a bit of trial and error. I think the key to making this technique successful is to have an object that already has a bend in it to aid in giving it the “pop” off the background. I found this out about halfway through mine. I’m still happy with the result.

I initially had a completely different idea, but I needed a model to work from to get the perspective right. I’d still like to pursue it in the future though when I have somebody to be a model for me.

Photoshop, about 45 minutes.

Legacy40k, I was being facetious…thanks anyway.
