Just like this here, only bigger and intimidating, and black (the castle that is), and everything is completely coated in a thin layer of ice, even the blades of grass. That’s just really hard to draw and I wasn’t about to try.
40 mins photoshop.

Decided to give it a shot as well…Since I feel way more comfortable working in 3d then 2d I built this in 3dsmax, hope that is acceptable. Took me bit over 2.5 hours in total…


Took the two spire idea from the castle in the back of the warrior woman in the fx thread…The polar bears (wich I built another time for fun but couldnt resist using here) guard the road towards the castle/village.

I’ve done this like, 4 days ago, but unfortunately I didn’t have internet to upload it.
Little over 2 hours I think, testing some new brushes and all that. Photoshop of course.
