Time used: 43 minutes, 55 seconds
Program used: Photoshop CS3
Hardware used: Wacom tablet

I am horrid at pretty much any and all drawing, so I’m using this to see if I could actually produce anything worthwhile or not. Nearly all of that 43 minutes was spent sketching ideas and throwing them away. I ended up with this little cartoon piece, which was still very hard for me to draw (yes, I am that bad).

I think that drawing is pretty nice… and funny too.

Painter 5.5…35 mins

This image took me in total about 2 hours. Mostly spend learning manga style linework, shading and expressions. In 60 minutes mark I had linework done, then as you see colouring, blending ect. Done in Photoshop.

Jpiette, dont worry, just practise, watch others, learn, read and practice.
