Hey sagi_13 your best yet!! Great work.

#8

As always there is awsome work here from all!

#9

It is one of your best works so far! My only crit is about her skin tone. I know she is supposed to be in semidarkness, but her skin still looks too purple to me, especially when contrasted with the orange in her shirt. I’d like to see her skin tones warmed up some. Really good job - gave me chills when associated with the caption!

edit: MOUSE?! You really need a tablet, man! That is even more amazing for drawing with a mouse! I tried it today and I suck with just a mouse!

30 minutes Photoshop7 …
What fun… cackles

Really nice sketchs as usual guys!

I just got myself a little cheap wacom so this is my second doodle with a wacom ever! As you can tell I’m still getting used to it… I’m pretty sure my next one will be better.

Cliche subject, cliche execution. This one could also be called: my first dive in the deep waters of realistic figure drawing. And it would be great if someone could explain to me what is wrong, especially with the head.

mare than 2.5 H | PS

Vitriolic you’re doing really well!

Great Job Garma!

Lighting is not bad and neither is your color pallet. The head is a bit large, and the limbs come to a pretty severe point. (which is fine except that from what you said in your post you want realism.)

The right leg is a bit twisty. Do you use photo ref? Photo refrence is the ONLY way to learn how to draw a realistic figure in my opinion. ( live models are better, but who has access to one of those 24/7)

Great Job though!

#16

sagi! definetly you best! I think you should use more reference!

drawMonger like your second one! keep it up!

2h photoshop+wacom

#17

Damn Goro, ur pic is wonderful!
Ok heres mine (ps+wacom almost 3 hours)

#18

Everyone has their off days and today was mine. I couldnt think of anything for this one except of stupid Underworld. Damn those terrible movies.

My best really? yey thank you thank you, I guess practicing here really makes a difference. Robin I agree a wacom would be great, but I dont have one, hm maybe it will be a good investment, thought I heard it takes some time to get used to… I guess I can practice that too.

Hm well I have some time to kill so I will look again at the skin tone (textures are not my forte,)
thanks for the comments everyone, they are very encouraging.

Mustardwash – Is that the new Frederick’s of Hollywood body armor she’s wearing?

Sagi – I agree, that’s your best yet. Don’t know if this is helpful, but you can draw her right arm on one layer and the gun and her left hand in a separate layer. That way you avoid having to draw around the gun.

Garma – Head and torso look good, but arms and legs below the knees need more mass. Also, knee and foot should always point in the same direction.

Goro – I don’t know if this makes sense, but that’s so good I can feel how heavy the gun is.

Such great entries today!
