that sucks big time
Actually, they say that greek post offices are not really save and that they open boxes and such but not sure if someone would steel chocolate. Maybe it got lost on the way 0_o
Iāll send you another one then.

Nerdy Ninja, itās fast because Iām lazy and it was more of a test to see how the faked volumetric light worked out
Next one will be slower and will have more textures
Allright, I matched it on a picture of a rather big stallion and the legs werenāt too short, perhaps they should be a bit more narrow⦠Anyway, I did notice the head was way too big, I shrunk it a bit, perhaps not noticable⦠Iām going to check for more ways to make the proportions betterā¦
so many posts to comment. Ohhh goodie

ok havent posted any images for a long time . today i finally got my backups from the hdd i had on my firewall gateway. so here is an image of a Warhammer 40k dreadnought concept i made last year. no textures as i didnt know anything about uv mapping att that time .

I really recommend that
I used to work as lot at around 4% opacity too and things started getting very blurry and muddy looking - that master copy Iāve been doing for Beccaās OFDW is done entirely at 100% and I think itās making me be much bolder. Beautiful work there Tascha, the new hair looks lovely although I really liked the old hairstyle tooā¦argh I am green with envy at this piece. So delicate and wonderful - you rock, girl
Had to join in with this
Look Iām on the horsy, bit out of focus, but hey⦠Btw Elsie, thatās the second picture I see of you and again itās blurry and completely covered up⦠tssss

Derby thatās looking great now!
Thanks Agamemnwn and Elsie.
I agree on being bolder with 100 percent flow.
Decided to make a thread in the game art forum for my little wip: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=312911
Sorry for pimping, we now return to your regular schedule
Peter, who would do such a thing as pimping?
I think your renders look beautiful, and said as much on the thread.
Itās amazing that youāve never shown us your work before! Have you posted much work here on the site?
Rebecca: Congratulations on the Tut
Fahrija: That is such an awesome environment you have created. I have a problem with creating environments.
Dimi : LOL, my mother in law is sweet. I mean really sweet. Good to see you. And have I given you hugs for all the presents
you sent me?
Marlon: Am about to buy the artrage. I tried the free edition and its awesome and superfast. There is only one thing thats holding back my ābuy nowā button clicker finger:
How the heck do you blend with that program? I must blend
Your work is looking superb, really superb.
Kyena: Thats a really delicate image you are painting there. Nice colors.

Hereās a project I started yesterday. Oil on cotton canvas(yes am too cheap to buy linen until I get better at painting :D). The image was slightly based on a pose of Beyonce I saw in a magazine or something. Am not going for a resemblance. Just to see if I could get her funky hairstyle to work. I have just āuncommitallyā placed some features.;Now to the gruelling task of waiting for that layer to dry before I continue. Should take a few days.
Brilliant work Ego. Fan-bloody-tastic. I love seeing traditional media.
How do you not go nuts waiting for it to dry? On first glance her chin is blending into her neck a bit too much, but overall, itās looking good!
You start another project. Like me, I have multiple projects going on at the same time. Now I head on to OFDW 12 to tackle Bouggie.
Also some painters do paint alla prima. They do everything in one sitting. I am not so sure of myself to accomplish that at this time. I have to think about the drawing and the features over and over and of course get advice from you guys before I commit on somethings.
Yes I see what you mean about the chin. There is a subtle hint there which will become more pronounced once I know for a fact where somethings will be.
Thanks for the comments
As I said previously on your anat thread Queenie⦠I really appreciate your oli painting⦠thereās something inside, something sensitive, that give a result very pleasant⦠for eyes but also for heart⦠I canāt explain really why⦠just I like
I hope your head is better today after the hard exercise ![]()
Whahahahaha⦠OMFG!
Derby you look very confident on that horse
⦠suddenly the inside of my ear feels a bit wetā¦
Wow, Ego, that is a great start!! I totally agree with the French nut.
About the blending in Artrage; you should experiment with the palette knife, smear and maybe pick neighbouring colors to blend some more and drag the thinner dial up to 80-90% (oils). Yeah, you have to work harder to get a perfect blendā¦
erm, sitting on my hard driveā¦waiting to be uploaded again to represent my presence here at CGtalk⦠he has two days off, dude was getting too skinny
In the meanwhile, the Turkish Darth Vader fills the void.
beelow, wassssup!!
Excellent Jack the Ripper, he looks very pleased after the killing.
