Quick gestural study of the same at work. Just an excuse to play with the new artrage really.

How do you like the new Artrage, Martin?
Hey Sergio, you’re doing great on the coloring!

edit: oh yeah, the rules…:wise:
Here’s a wip in Artrage2, really just fooling around, trying out the tools, I have no idea where this is going to…

#707

looks like she got backstabbed by three jedi-ninjas , with their lightsabers butt first , to
make a point she wasn’t that tough a Sith lady to begin with

.

#708

Hahahaha!!

#709

She also really needed that haircut

#710

More work on the bathhouse that will be a realtime environment… Eventually

#711

#712

Really nice work there Peter
Like how you did the clouds, Marlon

Got bored so I made this insect.

Don’t know what to call her exactly, but for the moment she’s named “Bertha”
Lets just pretend those legs gould carry her weight ^^;;

#713

Valentina: Very cool bug! You have such a great imagination, lady

My brain be hurt is

#714

Great stuff , peoples, that bug looks so cool, Snakehead!

Some of you might know we’re having a bit of a busy time
at work, having to work extra hours n stuff and I think
it’s starting to show on some people.

-A few days ago a dude one of the other dudes in our room
started shouting “stay away!” at sumthin, we didn’t know
what, and he didn’t hear anything we said, even though we
were just a few feet away.
Turned out he had this imaginary friend when he was a
kid , but it was okay now, he had shot it at some point
and that this time he was just shouting (not singing, hmm)
some song lyrics. Not sure if I believe him…

-You know how some like to pop bubblewrap with their fingers
to ease their stress, well they spread out lengths of it on
the floor at work a couple of days ago and drove over it on my
miniscooter. The whole place was going “RATATAPOP!” so loud
everybody came looking what’s going on.

-Every now and then the lead artist shambles into the room,
looks out throught the window at the street below, seven
floors down and mumbles something about the ground beckoning
him.

-Yesterday the programmers were unpacking their newly aquired
net purchase, a disco ball the size of my 19" monitor they’d
gotten from Poland with 20 euros. Tomorrow they’re gonna hook
it up to the ceiling, along with the laser and rotating
engine that came with it.
They looked mighty pleased, maybe now they’ll stop wrapping
eachother and random stuff they find in tinfoil…

-This appeared on the floor of the workplace this morning, it
was still there when I left at 10PM, I wonder what the
cleaning ladies are gonna think about it when they see it in
the morning

#715

Thanks Elise and Pauno

Going great Elise on that master copy

Squib, Looks like some of youre co-workers need a little vacation :s

#716

Heh, yeah

Artrage is fun… still some small problems (Photoshop couldn’t import the layers :hmm: , but no big deal. Rotating and zooming the canvas without jaggies, now that is awesome, heh. The pencil tool is sweet, the oils too, but after using the Artist’s Oils in Painter, it was a bit of a getting used to.

Oh yeah, still have no clue what this pic is all about…

Great work guys! Excellent stuff.

#717

Something i’m working on to get used to ArtRage 2.0:

Don’t really know where it’s going yet, just letting it take me where it wants.

#718

I’ve been taking some time here and there to start on the head of the horse I’m working on… Just to join into the wip posting.

#719

Craptastic semi-circle fly around

Click me for a 1.2Mb divx thingie

Art2, nice work, looks pretty funky with the outline…

Erillaz, cloudcity from Star Wars? So, what do you people think of Artrage 2?

Derby, nice horse head, what’s it for?

#720

haha - this thread is such a joy to look through
Elsie, seriously that looks awesome girl!
Art2, totally love that design and the colors!

Also digged back and noticed some questions I haven’t answered:
Squib, I’ll post it once I finish the damn thing >_<
Becca, I am totally sorry. I am in a semi deep art slack right now and have tons of work to do without really feeling to paint. I hope I’ll finish it soon.

On top, I just finished a crappy illustration for Game of Thrones. It didn’t turn out like I wanted at all and some parts are totally off. Besides the AD gave me the wrong instructions and the wrong reference card to work from. :frowning:
It was supposed to be used on all the card stands the booster packs are in but I am not sure now if they are going to use it sigh.
