Ohh sucks, but congrats with the newborn!!! :applause:

Ours will arrive in 2 weeks! :bounce: (hopefully…)
(I anticipated the arrival of Zbrush3 when we were conceiving, yup  )

[size=2]I’m working on a model I started in Z2 couple of weeks ago.
Importing it in Zbrush3 and just seeing it in Z3 makes my model 1000x times more sexier.
Goddmnt, subtools and lazymouse are awesome…

I decided to share some of my photos, taken with my new Canon EOS 400D with you:

very nice pics gawang!

Zbrush WIP, started in Z2, continued in Z3.

I wish I could do this all day long

#2904

Ack, your killing me, Saturday and no email.

And that was very good planning, zbrush and a little one that close together. Mine was purely accidental, lol.

#2905

Well, not to tease you or anything…

today I got a second email with my download link

#2906

Alright, the fun has begun. I actually got my link a few days ago, on an email address I haven’t checked in years, d’oh! But all fine now.

This is the first thing I made in Zbrush 2.

This is the first thing I made in ZB3 using the old 3DSphere as a starting point. I just doodled till this guy popped in my head.

This program is amazing!

#2907

Ran a few tests tonight. Start the real modeling tomorrow.

Bumped my troll WIP from the 100k to 2M and added a few alphas. Smooth as silk.

Added 2 HD levels for 42M polys. This is where it starts to seem like voodoo.

I think I could model fingerprints at this level.

My mem settings were to high and I got a protection fault. Not enough free memory on my PC. Fixed that and this is my much less impressive second attempt still at 42M.

The amazing thing is how freakin fast this program runs at these crazy levels. There is some slow down but its comparable to how ZB2 ran with ~1M polys.

#2908

I am so confusing.
The 1st post said that,
no picture = no post.

So, it means we must attach a photo or picture,
then add your text?

I see so many replies which has no photo.

The attachment, I did for my avatar.

#2909

Don’t worry about it MayLow. Post 'em if you got 'em
Cute looking avatar.

Hey Wyatt, great looking troll!
I havent tried HD levels yet… lots of things I haven’t tried yet.
Z has too many awesome features

Keep posting.

I was feeling lonley so I thought Id pitch im y oar too…
Managed to grab some an hr and a half at the company Im freelancing at… (they just got the update).

had a go at doing a sigorney portrait…
Mudbox is reeel nice now… specially in rapid mode.

#2911

Errr… you mean Zbrush3, right?

Nice mate!

#2912

Mudbox… Zbrush… same thing :stuck_out_tongue: well atleast now they are a bit closer… Im still not sold on the viewport, but if they say its perspective, who am I to argue… apart from that and the zexporter/zapplink2-3 missing, its pretty solid.

#2913

Hehe, that was originally set by Rebekah so we wouldn’t end up with the +20,000 posts of the last thread. You don’t have to post a pic if you are responding to another pic but its not that tightly moderated.

Art2:
I’m just dabbling with what is the same from the last program and slowly picking up new things as I here about them. Transpose is looking pretty awesome but I don’t quite “have it” yet.

Airflow:
I think perspective is a matter of finding the sweet spot in your focal length, not that I have any idea what mine should be set to. And ZApplink is missing, I didn’t realize. I’ll need to dig some mo.

#2914

Just somthing Im doing while woking on a company Ident, keeps me sane while I start to see logos in my sleep…
Just an arm at the mo…

#2915

airflow: it is perpective (in z3) u just have to activate it from the draw menu.

#2916

Some dabbling… bleh.

#2917

Funny thread here with all these pictures

So here´s my first comment!

I just bought this little guy to let it fly inside my appartment. Tons of fun for almost no money and I can say: Go and get one! :bounce:

Cheers
André

#2918

Aw thats awsome, I want one indeed!
How much, where at, whats it called?

Oh and welcome to the group.

#2919

Hey guys,

I’ve been a silent lurker on this thread for a while, but finally I’ll post a couple of pics. It’s cool to see this thread still going!

Here are some pics from my recent cross country trek from Virginia, East Coast of the US, to California, West Coast - about 7 days of driving / sightseeing. Very fun, but I’m glad to have arrived in one piece. I’ve moved back out here to start teaching - it feels like I never left in the first place, oddly enough.

Things didn’t start to get interesting visually til Colorado and Utah. Here are a few pics from that bit, I’ll probably spam this thread with more down the line:

#2920

Yay it’s the becca! Post more photos please, these are quite impressive and I want more
