I may be putting the cart before the horse here but in the orphaned works thread a fellow named Shin mentioned CGS becoming an actual registry site for the US Government. I’ve had lots of dealings with government contracting so I know there is lots of overhead and headaches involved with working with the US government but how feasible would this be?
Has anyone on staff looked into what it would take yet?

Pardon me that I’m not really up-2-date about the orphanage thing. Just invested some time on the matter. But is this allready going to happen? Or is it still in the making? I’ve read that in 2003 and 2005 attemps failed, so why should this one work?
