I will indroduce myself now as a cgs-member (early signed but lately introduced) . First of all I’m signed-in to help keep the cg-talk alive and to support the most helpful and inspiring cg-site around the world. i’m looking forward to the cgs idea and hoping to help growing.
I’m 29, born & live in Switzerland (near Zurich), exactly living in ‘Wald’ and working in Zurich as employer in a office planning firm. Working primarly all day with AutoCAD (since 1996, when I started as a machine draughtsmen). This was also my first contact to 3d, the possibilities in AutoCAD, extrude/rotate… 3D CG began to interest me more in 2003 with Cinema4d (private, free stuff) and 3d Studio Max (business, office visuals). I’ve done workshops with both apps, and later in 2003 I visited a one-year study “3d visualisation and animation” (with C4D) where I have finished my “first” animation “The Golem” (Diploma-Project). I also have worked semi-professional as photographer after finishing study.
My big interest in movies, my background as technical draughtsman and photographer has pushed me to cg world, cg/3d is all together.
Learning now Motionbuilder … My way is ANIMATION.
I’m married and have 2 children, 2.5 and 0.5 years old. I’m spending a lot time to them and my wife (the most important thing). See photos here.
I don’t earn money with cg, call me hobbyist  First of all i try to use CG for my personal artistic expression.
