I probably spent an hour on this one. Wanted to try going a little more dynamic this time.

Maze Runner! Wanted lot more detailed maze, but realised rendering the maze would take too long so went with a foggy maze

Uh, those are nice! Love the mouse, Andrew!

Finally I get to use Verve again after days of programming. It’s the first time I enjoy it in fullscreen, rather maximized window, and it’s totally sweet! Can’t wait to spend more time painting with it again, but now I gotta resume my project work…

(40min) Verve

A Mouser bot from the TMNT cartoon. Well, loosely inspired. It’s actually supposed to have a bit of a torso as well.

Taron: Tell me about it! Time just drains away magically when you get dragged into those streaks.

I LOVE the metal! That you’ve blown out the foot is just brilliant!

Thanks

I struggled a bit with the head and then realized I hadn’t really thought about the posture and legs at all. Pretty much lucked out with a pose that looked more or less balanced and dynamic, twisting the foot outward slightly. Had to simplify the whole leg several times before it got sensible.

The final coloration probably does a lot to sell off the metal look, reflecting something off-camera. I painted it all in black and white initially.
