I’m flooded with ideas on that one…

Taron: Ahh, the smoke looks amazing! Best use of your fluids yet, I think. If this were animated it would make a solid intro sequence for the awards ceremony

Mine ended up blobby and undefined. Also all the statues have seriously different shapes. Didn’t bother to look up reference for either statue or metals. I definitely should have. Also I should have drawn them opposite order so I had most practice before doing the gold guy.

Not sure about time, but it did take longer than I would have liked.

I like the gold statue the best. I like the way there’s a clean highlight on its chest.

Well, there you go. Thanks! To be fair, I did go gold->bronze->silver and then back to add extra highlights in the order of silver->gold->bronze, so that final touch was pretty well-rehearsed.

Mainly I don’t like the posture and outline of the gold one. Looks chubby and not very proud nor confident. Also the legs are very weird. My own favorite part is probably the glamorous velvety environment.

Ehehehe, it’s true, they all look rather like shepherds, lost in contemplation over things we’d never guess, whilst watching over the flock… lyrical, haha.
But much funnier is the whole… silver and bronze? I’m sure some people would be happy if it had more of an olympic spirit, hehehe. Also, it still is an achievement to get such a nice metallic look in an abstract environment like that. Good job altogether, for sure!

Pretty straightforward - good practice though. (Boy am I rusty.) ~20 min
