Trying to get back into drawing daily in various forms- it’s been a while since I’ve posted here, but here’s mine. Probably around 30 min total.

Nice one ThreedyModeler!
I had very similar idea about those dark characters around the fire… but then I went into zero brain mode and just sketched randomly…

#4

Trying hard to keep up with the themes. Feels like there are many posted every day lately! I guess I’m just distracted.

I like your designs, they’ve got lots of interesting mysticism going on.

Sazem: Yours looks like proper “artwork” that could be in a gallery of some kind! Very wild

#5

i agree with Petter. Sazem, your sketch looks like Edvard Munch

#6

Thanks guys! Actually I had somewhere during the progress “the scream” in my mind too.

But, Sazem, it looks fantastic, love it!

Uh, well, not like that’s a big surprise, but I suppose mine is in thought quite similar to drpetter’s…but mine has done a rare and stunning thing: It crashed Verve as I wanted to save it. That really never happens, but there it was… yet, I could take a snapshot even after the crash, so that’s nice. It’s a funky layer thing, when too much shuffling went on and somehow I caught the rare deadly combination that is so incredibly hard to recreate.
I did noodle around quite a bit and it felt like for ever… but it was just around:

(25min) Verve

For some reason I could not resist… but this one would’ve worked far better with the title “Ring of Fire”, I guess… anyway…

(20min) Verve

Hi again,

I did something different, yet a bit cliche. Done in PS, one brush, 55 mins

Threedy - very nice shapes, I would love to see that in color
Sazem - very original
DrPetter & Taron - both great rendering

Good night!!!

It takes me 15 minutes and was made on AzPainter, no reference images but I got to say that I remembered almost immediately this painting from Willam Waterhouse:

But I dont check it untill I finished:

As a point apart, Taron, I try to use Verve a couple times but my PC crashes the times that I tried, but I think it is for my old PC:
AMD Athlon 3000+ 1.8
2 Gygas ram ddr2
and a NVidia GForce 9500 GT with 9 years on use working on xp SP3

A greeting!!

“Excuse my english”

Hey MrKrabju, yes, Verve needs a newer machine. I’m sorry to hear. I wonder how many people have that same problem. I’m afraid it’s too many.
Verve is a hardware based experiment. Even if I went for a software version, it just couldn’t be fast enough to be a reasonable alternative.
It’s like getting a Ferrari and wanting it to tow a house.
I’m still sorry.

Thanks Miridiphis! Gandalf in action there?! …looks very nice, actually!

A bit late to the party. A lot of magic going on here, everyone.
@MrKrabju: I like the mood of your witch.
@DrPetter: Neat effects. Looks like a necklace of fire.
