HA! This time I just stopped at 30min, before I’d go on to noodle around. But this guy is really kinda cute and I’d have loved to give it some more attention. Either way… it’s really nothing I normally do, but such fun, too.

(I should probably add that this is supposed to be a Baby-Night fury)

(30min) Verve

First idea was to sketch ww2 airplane in the night… but ended up too hard for me! So I just doodled something and this was result! So really I had no idea hehehe

#4

Lets try this! 30min in Sketchbook. Supposed to visualize the horrors of the night and how to ignore them with the help of entertainment which is a source of horror again…

I must say! This sketch challenge is highly addictive.

A Woman in fury, at night, in your house. She just spotted you and looks your way…

I hope you like the claws

HA! So cute and so stylish! :applause:
…I’ll spend some time padding myself on the shoulder for getting you in here! :wise:

Plus, your animation is fantastic! Not only for the 3days it took, but for the point it proves. I could watch this a heck of a lot longer.

The Night Fury / 33 min.

#9

My first entry. 35 minutes.

@ Xharthok

It made me smile. Nice work!

The triangle characters from your animation are delightful!

@Pajin

Nice job on the light!

So many amazing entries now, this gets exciting so quickly! :bounce:
…I can’t believe that I’m the only one that picks up on “The Night Fury”, though. I’m starting to feel funny that I’m still watching that show “the dragon riders of Berk” (How to train your dragon). It is a very cute show.
But then I’m grateful, too, because so many great interpretations are coming out.

@Sazem …another big one for you, it turned out beautifully!
@mkosek Makes me shiver again. You really understand how to get under someone’s skin!
@Ferx …that’s like the closest to the dragon besides mine, hahaha. Different take on batman, somehow.
@Pajin …also a bit unsettling in a weird and beautiful way. Is that TED? …it looks so cozy that it takes a moment to realize what’s going on. Quite terrifying.:argh:

You are an absolute charmer!

Thanks man! I love your Baby Night Fury.

Hehe, thanks. I’m currently in the making of a 15 min pilot with the characters for a potential web series in this ultra-simple-style… but with a more refined look. Working on it in my freetime so it’s kinda slow going, but it will be finished. I will enter Roberto’s IP-Incubation-Club here on Cg-Talk later this year.

Glad you like them, they will do some pretty cool and insane stuff in the longer animation. I love evil Characters.

@ Ferx: Nice shot and camera angle! Shows how one can sell a pic only with a silhouette.

@ Pajin: Cool rim lighting and translucency. - Maybe the teddy bear has made her burn down the house.:argh:

WAH…I can’t wait!!!

Had some fun with brushes trying to convey fire, smoke, debris like ash.

Thank you guys.

This is very intersting contest and I look forward to the next one. It’s fun to work that way. 35 minutes is totaly killing time to try to do some work.

This little bear can be whisperer

@ TheTaron: Funny little guy

@ Sazem: Yes, I can imagine this can be very scary at night. Luckily I have no cat

@ Xharthok: Cool design. Scary is how little nice bigearsheaded man can do lot of violance then

@ mkosek: She is a beuty, she is an evil. That can works.

@ Ferx: Wow, this devil is something i wont met in a dream. Cool camera. Maybe some differently colored background can help to separate devil … just thinking.

@ Andrewty07: Pretty insidious dragon.
