Holee crap that is a fantastic sketch.
Could you tell us a bit more about it?

Appreciate that Roberto. :wink:
Well I just wanted a futuristic gun which incorporated a lot of retro elements within it.
So keeping things like District 9 in mind I designed this gun which has a beam projector screen at the front which can be programmed for different types of laser assault, a canister which powers this gun using oil as means to drive all the tech on the it, the antenna’s are their to transmit live audio and position information back to base. I was just making all this up as I was sketching. 30 minutes really pins one down to perform at their fastest level with no time for thinking.

I used photoshop CS5, Intuos 4 and custom brushes I created for this very reason.

Here’s my offering after 30mins;

Here’s the finished piece :slight_smile: I’m not sure on how long it took exactly as I was working on it, on and off, after work for a few days. I’d say maybe 6-7hours in total.

Exactly 30min, very short time limit it is. Pencil and paper.
