This is my first time posting. I discovered this forum a few days ago and it looked like fun.
This image was created in Photoshop, and it took 45 minutes. For some reason, I couldn’t paste the image into the post itself… :\
This was a tricky topic but everyone’s got wonderfully diverse sketches!
r0mer0 - your water effect is great - I spent ages trying to make nice looking water but gave up and started over.
I’m feeling particularly amateurish posting in this thread after all the wonderful images everyone else has done! But that’s what this is all about…

About 40 min? I didn’t keep track of time though oops, but at max of 1 hour or so. 
I laughed too.:) and enjoyed a lot of nice work here. Great job!
Here is mine. It is a fisherman who’s been catching only small fish the whole day and is staying late, hoping for a bigger catch. LOL
spent about an hour using PS, the extra time was spent on the fisherman.
Hello all, nice posts.Creeto, great job and nice one Dream Master. Everyone keep up the good work. Here is my take on the subject. ~60 mins. PS and Painter. Believe it or not, the scale texture was hand done in Painter using some cool random setting changes that I couldn’t remember if I tried… but it’s possible to create some cool textures in painter…
