CGChallenge XXVII - TEN - Ishan Shukla

Hi All, feels good to be back here for a challenge. I am going to try for individual video category.

Idea: This idea has been in my drawer for a long time. Hope this is the right time to realize it.
In hinduism, Kalki is the tenth and final avatar (great incarnation) of God who will bring to an end the present age of darkness and destruction. He will establish a new era based on truth & righteousness (

So I will try to fit this TENth and final incarnation of God in current/near future setting and explore how he can be fitted in that environment realistically.

Concepts for first 2 sequences

Working on the layouts with rough models. Still touching up camera movements.

The master rig for the characters. I realize I have some crowd scenes. So I will have to re-use a lot of animation here and there. I hope after texturing this will suit my needs.

Here is a small video for the rig :

Testing render for 2nd Sequence. Textures and accessories not done yet.

I like the idea your going with and your showing some great progress too, your latest render is looking sweet already! Goodluck!

Thanks
I have been trying to upload a wip video, but getting an error message. I hope the problem is resolved soon. Meanwhile, here are some screencaps from the video. I would call it 60-65% of the whole thing.

Looking good!Waiting for the video.
All the best!

Thanks Adrian.

Okay I tried Chrome and it worked. Don’t know why challenge uploader was giving an error on firefox. Anyways here is wip for the video :

-It’s 60-70% of the final video. There is a Voice Over and some shot fixes remaining. Also Editing/sound is more or less there but not 100%

Looking great man! Watching it in video obviously says so much more.
