CGChallenge XXVII-Ten-(animation)-Vlad Pascanu

Hello, this is my late entry for this challenge. I have uploaded some of the shots that i made so far.
The story is located in a noisy/busy city and goes around an inventor of a machine that stop the time every morning or 10 minutes enough for the character to drink his morning coffee.
The tehniques i use are cut-out and hand drawn animation.
Animation link here on my cgchallenge page.

Wow you have a distinct style, and with good sound it can be awesome. Good luck.

The concept sounds pretty good! I’ll watch your progress, good luck!

I uploaded some shots that i finished. I am experimenting with some colors, i think i really helps with the foreground/background separation and with the localization of the action. What do you think ?

This is just a general message to everybody in the forums to remember to upload their deliverables to the Challenge engine ( Only 2 days to go!

Please ignore this message if you already have.

Good luck, Mike

I kinda rushed my deliverables but anyway here they are:
final animation here
trailer here
and the " could have been better" making of here
I m not quite pleased with what came out but it’s the best i could do in 20 days.
Anyway, if you want , give me c&c.I think my biggest problems were with the story, the editing and not describing the character really well.

That was a damn good short. Loved the way you framed each shot. And in just about a minute I could relate and feel for the character. And your drawing style fits it well too. Congratulations for this job well done

Great idea , great animation !

Thanks redCigarette and DFrymus.

Congratulation Vlad !! You are great!!
