CGChallenge XXVII - RKurczewski

Yet another assembly test.

#22

This looks very believable/natural . Great job on the modeling.

#23

You painted horse texture in photoshop, didn’t you? I would probably change human boots material to a litte bit less glossy:)

#24

You are very kind guys (personally I think those still need some sculpt), thank you for comments. Textures… actually color maps are painted directly in Blender (texture paint mode). More precise b&w maps, used to separate various materials, are created in Corel. Here are all textures used so far- as you can see they are not really complicated. What is going to appear are some variations of horse colors and bump maps for clothing (not too much of it, really).

#25

Skeletons for all poses frozen- time to start working with sculpt to correct mistakes and build up a regiment. Anyway- that’s how sample looks like

Pelisse added.

I was watching it almost from the beginning, I must say that some parts are really impressing. I like stylized look and horse modeling. The idea is quite epic for a one person. I keep fingers crossed!

Flag of the regiment. I used pictures of flags from

http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=534146&page=3

to build my own.

… and here it is with bannerman

#29

Getting closer. I think I will pull it off after all

Hi,

This is just a general message to everybody in the forums to remember to upload their deliverables to the Challenge engine (http://challenge.cgsociety.org/ten). Only 2 days to go!

Please ignore this message if you already have.

Good luck, Mike
