Looks like you guys have some good work there :slight_smile: I think the one thing that will really push your work to the next level is better lighting. Good lighting really helps a model and makes it look more realistic, also work on your materials and lessening the specularity on some of them. Good work :slight_smile:

Nice images Kunio you are right you need to work on textures.
And even the lighting which software are you using for 3d?
I realy like the image of the katana could you tell me were I can find some reference (of a katana)?

We used maya for most of our work. and since most of us are still new to the cg world, Gimp for our texture. Since Photoshop is introduce to us, but most of us still have no idea how it works.

About the katana, since it is not mine i have no idea how or where he do he’s research but according to him, most of he’s refrence are found on yahoo Japan with the keyword “nihon tou” means Japanese sword.
