Cel Shading effect & SFIV styled ink blots

#1

For a school assignment I wanted to do a sort of cel shaded style of a bruce lee clip?

The idea was to get a complete yellow background and only have the black outlines of bruce lee animated. Kinda like this, but animated:

[left]A) Is that even possible in AE?
B) Might there be a tutorial?
C) If not, can someone help or at least set me on the right path?

AS for the Street Fighter IV ink blot speedlines, if yo uare familiar with the SFIV intro then you’ll have noticed those fancy looking inkblots, if not look over here:

Again is there some sort of tutorial to make something like it in AE, or else is there someone wh ocan guide me alittle bit or set me on the right path?

Maybe one of these tutorials can point you in the right direction.

Yes, anything is possible in AE, but still… Just as much as the post processing it would matter how you shoot your scene in the first place, from clothes to lighting to camera selection to green screen usage. For some basic techniques, please study the examples on my page: http://aestuff.myleniumstuff.de/?cat=178. And of course there are other methods using otehr effects in AE or third-party plug-ins, yet you should never expect to perfectly mimic a hand-drawn look using any kind of procedural approach…

You shoot them in a water tank or use 3D fluid simulation software.
