Outstanding quality! As for the critique, I think the blurred background is a bit overdone as it drives eyes to the bottom instead of the top.

Perfect!
A powerful rendition of Simon and Kirby’s original defender of truth and justice. A Timely piece indeed, though a much darker version than the original!
I feel that you have caught the period very well indeed in this character. It evokes feelings of the 20’s/30’s, a time of rapid change and contrasts, the survivors of the depression and the new industrialists, the golden age of baseball, gangsters, cinematic splendour, political turmoil, war, grit, grime and injustice. His shield and costume look like they could have been made from automotive/aeroplane parts. This guy looks like he intends to set a few things straight.
Do you have plans to animate him?

i never really saw captain america with a cigar. this feels more like a wolverine thing. captiain america to me is a bit more like superman. more clean the ultimate role model. but thats what i think, when i think of captain america.
but as for technical modeling. its hella badass. i really like it. great job.

One thing… I look at it and I feel his legs are too short, now I don’t know if it’s me, an optical illusion (hehe) or if anybody actually feels the same way.
Still, great render, great shading, great modelling, 5 stars work.

I’m 100% sure that his shield is intentionally worn and also about the cigarette and his older look - it’s a broken Character, and that makes this Image so great and interesting
