Ok, this has to be the most annoying thing I have run across in EIAS ever. I am unable to perform a simple object rename. I click on an object, and I can not get the object name to pull up to rename it. Clicking back and forth between objects eventually allows it for some objects, but not all… so I am left with 3 objects I can not change the names for…
If anyone has some magic potion, or voodoo click pattern to get this to work, let me know.

Are you wanting the object name itself to become editable in the project window? If that’s the case, it doesn’t work hat way. When you click on an object name, it’s editable version displays on top of the list of objects, just below all of the buttons across the top of the project window. You can rename here.
Also, if this is an UberShape, and you have the little checkbox checked in the info dialog, anytime you change the name, it will likely get changed back. (I can’t remember the label for that checkbox right now, “Live Update” or ssomething like that.
If you already knew all of this, and are experinceing something else, then I apologize, just covering the simple options first.
