I model in maya 100% of the time. i am use to snapping vertices. I was curious how you do this in wings. i have 2 pieces of geometry , the characters geometry around his eye. there is also the geometry around his mouth, i need to snap some vertices. i found nothing in the documents about this. anyone know what i need to do.
Can you vert snap?
if you need to snap em just to line em up , use flatten.
If you want to weld the vertices select one , right click on scale uniform and select the other and get em on top of each other , or you can use slide (clacos plugin) which does it more easily.
but no , wings doesnt have snapping.
Hey Levitateme, I would really recomend you to check out Puzzled paul’s great wings tutorial pages… They will save you alot of headaches,

There ya go.
<< …and get em on top of each other… >>
Drag to 0% (constrain by holding down shift)
<< the characters geometry around his eye. >>
Depending on what you’re trying to do - Vert | Deform -> Inflate (RMB option) might also be of interest - lets you organise verts onto a spherical radius with a centre / rad of your choice.
Some info on Inflate page of my collection of gibberish.
