I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to characterize a model with a custom rig. For example, I know that it is possible to characterize a normal rig and then add more controls (such as a tail). Would it be possible to make the rig (with the tail) only once, and then tell MB to save this rig? Then, if I had another character with a tail, I could simply characterize the model with the my rig (not the standard biped rig)- so that I wouldn’t have to rig a tail for the character- it would be done automatically.
Did that make sense? Is this wishful thinking?
