As long as the fur or hair is actual geometry and not a post-render effect. For example I have hairs on my BoB but each one is a modified cone. The easiest way to tell if a hair or fur will qualify is if it can be fully seen in the viewport without having to be rendered then it should be OK.

Of course you’d have to get an answer from a moderator to be sure.
