Can´t open forum threads

#61

I haven’t done any of the suggestions on my end and I don’t plan to however the problem hasn’t happened today.

Previously, it was the 2nd and 3rd thread after the stickies every time on every forum and sub-forum.

You are a forum leader, any chance you can speed things up?

I have been checkingonline and we are not the only ones with this issue:

Thanks Roberto, seems FB needs to fix it on their side…oh my.

We noticed the issue late last week, Facebook had done something ‘unusual’ and was affecting all pages on all of our sites with a Facebook ‘like’ button. We made a small change that would have fixed things for everyone however depending on your browsers cache settings this change may not have appeared. It also looks like Facebook have adjusted things at their end, here’s hoping it does not return.

cheers,
BEN

Still not working here and I’ve cleared the cache. 2nd, 3rd and 4th thread for me.

Get a semi decent security/anonimity browser addon and block beacons and monitors from facebook on this, and other, misbehaving site(s) and everything will be fine.

Ghostery, posted a few pages ago, is actually a pretty good one.

Not that the problem shouldn’t be fixed, but it’s not a CGTalk only thing, and there are many good reasons to start browing more safely (not to mention faster) anyway, so you can dig yourself out of this on your own at the cheap price of not having facebook likes on this site :stuck_out_tongue:

There is another way without any ads:

Just click CTRL+ALT and move your mousewheel. You can make the site very small and the invisible block will disappear for those 3 threads.

I know its not a very professional way of dealing with issue, but it works very fast and easy ^^
