can somebody tell me what this is?

I recently downloaded a file from red giant. I have been trying to understand how an effect has been formed. However, I just couldn’t understand what these are? I have deleted everything in the composition however they are still there and they are animated. Can somebody tell what these are, and how you modify them? And how they can appear even if you delete all of the things in the composition?

Looks like nulls and lights. Some of your layers are hidden(click the 4th icon above your timelineto unhide), it’s probably that’s why you can’t see them.

Thanks a lot. I never hide stuff so it never occurred to me to check that.
