I haven’t found an answer for this one yet. I can obviously plug one mesh into a network, and I can have a separate network that distributes onto another object, but surely there must be some way of distributing one mash network onto multiple objects without poly combining them. Right?
yes you can, by using the “polyUnite” node.
technically it’s like combining them but not in the “maya way”, that way your input meshes stay untouched without all the history stuff.
Ahhh I knew there had to be a node like that. I was looking through the node editor for things that started with either “merge” or “combine”. Thanks for the tip!
