I’m using C4D to do a little camera mapping, and although I can get very basic success, I feel like I’m missing a more professional workflow.
I have bags of perspective lines in the shot to go off, it’s a wide long shot of a huge factory. Not unlike the famous end shot from Raiders of the lost Ark, but with columns left and right and objects all over the floor.
What should my steps be? So far I’ve guessed the horizon line and adjusted camera pitch to match and begun placing cubes and aligning their edges. But it’s very easy to move a cube in one plane, then another, and end up with the edge back where you started! Should I be doing prep in Photoshop or something that involves measuring first? All the help I could find on the web was about technical software issues which is not my problem.
