bullet - moving toward the origin?

I have a bullet sim scene set up in Maya 2014. It is very big. A castle is being blown up. As the pieces break free they are effected by gravity, but they also are moving toward the origin. I dunno. They’re swirling around each other and making a big clump on the groundplane. Any advice to make that stop?

Maybe they are being attracted to each other? Anyone?

Did you ever fix it? Make sure you didn’t have any group-nodes selected when you created the bullet setup. I’ve had groups of object kind of swirl around the pivot of the group when I’ve done that. That’s all I can think of atm.
