Building a good PC for 3D Animation

Hello CGs!

I’m a character animator working only with Maya. I’m having a trouble with my old PC so I need to build a new one. I know that what I need most is a good good GPU. I need to know what is the best choice on a budget of 500$. Hope to hear from you guys soon! Thanks for your help!

If you’re going to ask for upgrade advice, at least tell us what you’re upgrading from. Otherwise go buy a Voodoo2 for all we know.
