Bubble Trouble - OpenGL?

I am posting this here since it’s not a bug in 2.4d

I was going to study particles using Tarons’ Bublbes_Large scene, but when i render i get white Squares (They look like unmapped sprites) instead of bubbles!

so now i’m on the hunt to solve why this would happen. Here,s where i’m at:
Win XP
Quadro FX 4000 I have changed the Opel GL to the required pmG settings.
Ok i am still getting Sprites instead of bubbles.
any other ideas to look for why this is happening?

According to node flow in the image shown, your particle node ‘colour’ is connected to ‘Radiance’, but not active , it is shown as grey, rather than blue, and this is your problem.
